4th of July Riverfront Celebration
Savannah Convention Center invites residents and visitors to celebrate Independence Day at its free Fourth of July Celebration on Saturday, July 4, featuring live entertainment, food and beverages, family-friendly activities, and front-row views of the annual Savannah River fireworks show presented by the Waterfront Association.
Additional information:
- Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the festivities. Tents are not permitted.
- Admission to the event is free and open to the public. Parking will be available on-site for $25 per vehicle, and advance parking registration is encouraged. The Esplanade and Riverwalk will open at 4:00 p.m. for attendees.
- Outside alcohol is prohibited. Coolers are permitted but subject to search upon entry. Glass containers, personal fireworks, smoke bombs, bicycles, skateboards, and other prohibited items will not be allowed.
- All food, beverage, and parking purchases are cashless. Credit and debit cards are the only forms of payment accepted.
Parking
The Savannah Convention Center offers a frictionless, pay by phone, parking system with Metropolis Parking. This allows our guests to experience seamless, checkout-free payments. Simply drive in and out with no lines, cash, tickets, or apps.
- First-time visitors: Upon arrival, scan the QR code posted throughout the parking lot and garage. Enter your license plate number and select a contactless payment option. When you’re ready to leave, simply drive out and your payment will be processed automatically. You will receive a text receipt.
- Returning visitors: If you’ve already registered, no additional steps are needed. Simply park, enjoy your event, and exit. No stopping or scanning required.
