Located on Hutchinson Island across the Savannah River from the Historic District, the newly expanded Savannah Convention Center now boasts 660,000 square feet of premier event space. The facility features a 200,000-square-foot exhibit hall, a striking 40,000-square-foot ballroom, 27 state-of-the-art meeting rooms, a 58,000-square-foot waterfront terrace, and a new 900-space parking garage. With increased capacity and enhanced amenities, the convention center continues to attract record-breaking attendance and facility revenue, driving economic growth while showcasing the distinctive charm of Savannah, Chatham County, and the State of Georgia. As the first convention center in Georgia to achieve LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold certification in 2017, it remains committed to sustainability and is now managed by the Georgia World Congress Center Authority.
